Jousting Tournament, Blenheim Palace

Blenheim is a regular entry in our diaries offering such a fantastic calendar of events within stunning grounds & located only 15 minutes by car.

The Jousting Tournament is a weekend full of entertainment, with knights on horseback competing as once upon a time was tradition; birds of prey displays; medieval stalls including infamous Blacksmiths using historic techniques: alongside a wonderful selection of children’s activities including archery.

It’s a day out with a difference & a family favourite here.

Giffords Circus

A staple event in our diary every year, the magic that is Gifford’s Circus.

2020 brings the 20 year anniversary of Giffords Circus & this year’s theme promises to be spellbinding as ‘The Hooley’ brings the fairy folk to two beautiful settings – Daylesford Organic, Kingham & Blenheim Palace.

The enchantment that is Giffords Circus is indescribable, be welcomed into the most diverse and talented family & leave believing anything is possible. Do not miss!

Oxfordshire Art Week, Luxury In The Cotswolds

9 -17 May 2020

This year we are incredibly excited to be hosting 16 artists for Oxfordshire Art Week in our grounds at Luxury In The Cotswolds, including our displayed artist – Melanie Charles.

We try to attend as many artists’ exhibitions as we can during art week, it’s our local resource into the art world. This year we’re making it easier for us all by having a variation of mediums of artists on our doorstep – painters, potters, sculptors… we are so excited for them to exhibit on our grounds. Do visit & take a peek.

Rough Runner, Great Tew Estate

23 - 24 May 2020

Last year’s event was so much fun! An epic obstacle course on the beautiful Great Tew Estate, across the fields from Luxury In The Cotswolds. You will find a course designed off the back of gameshows such as Takeshi’s Castle, Total Wipeout & Ninja Warrior. A challenging and fun team event it is the BEST way to raise money for a cause close to your heart, or as an enjoyable day out with your friends.

This year is promising live music, zorb balls, rock climbing, zip wires and more to keep those not competing entertained – along with a well-stocked bar & live music.

Big Feastival, Kingham

28 - 30 August 2020

Another local of ours – Feastival. Alex James’ brainchild, bringing together the best in food (especially cheese), drink & music, with family fun thrown in.

Our recommendation for a ‘family festival’ with a fantastic kids zone - 2019 saw Justine Fletcher, Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol & PJ Masks offering entertainment, fairground rides & animals from Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park.

Insider tip – hire a trolley for the tiny humans, available at the entry gates, it’s a well-spaced festival in the height of summer with limited shade.

Line-up coming soon.
